ARK Animal Adoption Event by GIN
GIN, or the Global Issues Network, will be hosting an animal adoption event in collaboration with the HS Animal Advocacy Club and Animal Refuge Kansai, an animal shelter, to further raise awareness about animal welfare. This is the 2nd year that GIN has hosted this event at Winterfest, on Saturday, December 6, at the MS Outdoor Basketball Court. Six dogs in need of a home will be brought to ASIJ this year. Give Love, Get Love.
Ronald McDonald House of Japan by Pre-Medical Society
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Japan provides “a home away from home” for families whose children are receiving medical treatment. By offering comfortable lodging and support near hospitals, they help families stay close during challenging times. This Winterfest, the Pre-Med Club are proud to collaborate in support of RMHC Japan. We will be hosting a Christmas card-making station, badge-making station, and an information booth to discuss RMHC's mission and how you can help! Through our fundraising and volunteer efforts, we hope to help more families stay together when they need it most. Thank you for joining us in making a positive impact on our community!
Art & Giving Tree by Animal Advocates
Animal Advocates will be raising money for Tier Heim Kokua, a dog shelter we work closely with. This NPO rescues dogs who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, or are at risk of being euthanized, and provides medical care, behavioral support, and rehabilitation tailored to each dog to help them get adopted into safe and loving homes. All funds we collect will go directly towards food, supplies, medical bills, and toys for the dogs.
Hotteok by Human Rights Club
We are raising funds for Plan International Japan, an international NGO that is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

Fight On Gifts by Fight On
Shine On! Kids supports children in Japan with cancer and other serious illnesses through a number of innovative, evidence-based psycho-social support programs. Understanding that a journey back to health is not only about the patient, Shine On! Kids also supports the multiple family members caring for these kids inside and outside of the hospital as well as the medical staff who undergo their own challenges of managing stress in caring for very sick kids.
