Eco Shopping Club
Whether you’re new to Tokyo or have been around for a while, Tokyo shops change frequently. The eco shop-along will take you to various stores in the neighborhood where we can do more sustainable (or eco-friendly) shopping such as plant-based, organic and zero waste shopping. A small fee of ¥1000 will be charged to cover the costs of the day: including research and arrangement with the shops, and the guide on tour day.

Our mission with Ekolokal is to enable you to make more eco-friendly choices with regard to food! With Ekolokal, you can discover and visit unexpectedly eco-friendly stores in your area. This means that most of the stores on our platform are not marketed as eco-friendly however they are flexible enough to accommodate eco-conscious consumers who are vegan, want to reduce plastic waste etc. Not only are you doing something good for the environment and your health, but also supporting local businesses. Ekolokal is also a positive community where you can get inspired, find motivation, and connect with each other! We also opened a vegan cafe in Otsuka (Tokyo) where we hold events and where you can meet like-minded people!
