PTA Annual Fund Committee

The PTA’s operating budget is fully funded by ASIJ, thus eliminating the need for the PTA to fundraise for itself. However, through the PTA Annual Fund Committee, the PTA supports ASIJ’s fundraising efforts for the school among current ASIJ parents, encouraging all parents to donate to the ASIJ Annual Fund.

The PTA Annual Fund Committee liaises with the ASIJ Advancement Office to align with the school’s overall Annual Fund activities. The aim of the committee is to promote broad school parent participation in donating to the ASIJ Annual Fund during the school year. Committee members share information about the annual fund and the use of these donations, answer questions and encourage all parents to participate by donating at any level. Main events are Giving Tuesday in the fall and April Appreciation in the spring.
